Team 7530
We are Team 7530, a FIRST Robotics team from Watertown-Mayer High School in Watertown, Minnesota. Our team was founded in 2018, and our mission is to develop engineering and teamwork skills that will carry on into the real world. We challenge ourselves every year by participating in the FIRST Robotics competitions, for which we create and program a robot that is capable of completing necessary tasks. Members of the team are creative, enthusiastic and have fun together!
We attended the Northern Lights Regional Competition on February 28 - March 2, 2024 in Duluth, Minnesota. We placed 3rd in 2023 at this competition.
The highlight of the 2022-23 season was qualifying for the Minnesota State High School League's State Robotics Competition! We ranked in the top 36 teams in the state out of 190 teams to earn a spot in the competition. It was held at Williams Arena at the University of Minnesota on May 6, 2023. Our team did great and received the Outstanding Engineering and Design Award from the Dunwoody College of Technology.
Check out the 2023-24 competition challenge and the robot we created to complete the tasks.
We participate in various community events to promote STEM learning and teach others about robotics.
